The Genesis of a Noble Mission
Satvic Social Welfare Society, founded by a group of compassionate individuals, was born out of our collective desire to combat hunger and malnutrition in the Jabalpur community. With Jabalpur being home to a diverse population, we recognized the pressing need to ensure that no one in our city sleeps on an empty stomach.
The Heart of “Koi Bhookha Na Soye”
The name itself, “Koi Bhookha Na Soye,” translates to “May No One Sleep Hungry,” and it encapsulates the essence of our initiative. Our primary mission is to ensure that hunger becomes a thing of the past for every resident of Jabalpur. We firmly believe that food is a basic human right and should be accessible to all, regardless of their socio-economic status.
An Unwavering Commitment
What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to our cause. Volunteers from all walks of life come together, dedicating their time and resources to feed the hungry. Whether it’s a hot meal for a homeless person, a nutritious snack for a hungry child, or groceries for a struggling family, we, as volunteers, work tirelessly to make a difference.
Community Engagement and Impact
Our impact extends beyond just food distribution. We actively engage with the community, raising awareness about nutrition, hygiene, and overall well-being. We believe in empowering individuals to break free from the cycle of poverty and hunger, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to lead healthier lives.
Overcoming Challenges
Running such a noble initiative does not come without its challenges. Satvic Social Welfare Society relies heavily on donations and our volunteers’ dedication. Yet, our tireless efforts have borne fruit, as we have managed to expand our operations and reach an increasing number of people in need.
A Call to Action
“Koi Bhookha Na Soye” serves as an inspiration to us all. It reminds us of the profound impact that a few dedicated individuals can have on their community when we unite for a common cause. It urges us to reflect on the privileges we often take for granted and to extend a helping hand to those less fortunate.
In conclusion, Satvic Social Welfare Society’s “Koi Bhookha Na Soye” initiative is a shining example of how compassion and community spirit can transform lives. We are not just feeding the hungry; we are nourishing the soul of Jabalpur. As we continue to work towards our goal of a hunger-free city, we remind ourselves that the fight against hunger is a collective responsibility, one that we can all contribute to, no matter how small our efforts may seem. Currently we are serving to two different locations of the city one of them is Government Medical College and other is Victoria Hospital which is also run by the government. In both the locations so many underprivileged people come for medical treatments.
